Welcome

This will be the place to check for information regarding my math and science classes. The website will be updated daily. I have used web information extensively in the past to keep families updated and plan to expand on it going forward. Here are a few of things you can expect to see:

Daily Assignments
Important dates regarding tests/quizzes/class events
Video Lessons
Note sets
Interactive content
General class info

The best way for me to give you an idea of what it will look like is to link my previous site:

fdmath8.blogspot.com

I see the website as a tool for both students and families to take advantage of on daily basis. Much of the note taking content and lessons will be hosted here, so students will be interacting with the site regularly. As I said before, I would like to expand on the content, so if there is something you feel is lacking, please feel free to let me know and I will try to add it.

MATH STUDENTS- Each student will be issued a Big Ideas web account in the coming weeks. This will give you access to the entire textbook online, as well as other content.

CLASS GRADING CRITERIA:

SCIENCE
50% Test/Quiz
30% Lab Performance
20% Classwork Completion

MATH
